Sunday, April 24 was Breaking the Silence Sunday, a time to recognize the prevalence of sexual assault in our world and the importance of breaking the silence that often surrounds it. After a brief introduction by Pastor Delle, the congregation chose favorite hymns of healing and love to sing. Following the hymn sing, Davin Franklin-Hicks, a member of Rincon UCC, shared a few words of introduction to the visual reflection, 100 Days which he created as part of his healing after being sexually assaulted. Davin's reflection can be viewed by clicking on the words 100 Days Visual Reflection above.
