 | On April, 2, 2017, Bill Holliday was our guest preacher. Bill is the director of ProMex Group, a Gertrude Scofield grant recipient. ProMex is a non-profit that supports charitable micro-credit organizations working in Mexico on the border. He was first exposed to micro-finance in Nicaragua while serving in the Peace Corps. After the Peace Corps, Bill helped start a micro-credit operation in Nogales, Mexico. ProMex Group strives to alleviate poverty and economically forced migration by providing disadvantaged Mexicans with access to capital and education to grow businesses. |
