We want you to know that Rincon UCC’s leadership is committed to being proactive, not reactive, in response to the needs presented by COVID-19. We are committed to making sure your needs are met, and that we are being “safer than sorry” with all expert information available to us at any given moment. For these reasons, we are writing to let you know that:
- SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES ARE ONLINE ONLY until further notice. The best way to stay abreast of our worship offerings and other critical updates is to be subscribed to our newsletter.
- PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT YOUR NEEDS ARE. A Rincon Response team for COVID-19 has been pulled together to ensure we can coordinate quickly and well to serve your needs. The majority of Rincon’s community is over 60 years old, and/or has underlying health/living circumstances that may render you more vulnerable to coronavirus. This means that the CDC and others have strong recommendations for communities like ours. We want to help resource you in the ways that health experts are calling for. Please fill out THIS FORM if you need any help securing an adequate supply of food, hygiene/household products, and/or medicine. For those who want to join any of the efforts for supporting our community and connecting with each other regularly, volunteer HERE!
- The United Church of Christ as a denomination is staying abreast of all of the latest news and efforts at a national and regional level, while also helping resource our collective spiritual needs. The denomination has put together a good landing page of resources and links that you may find helpful HERE.
