of Christ is a welcoming and progressive Christian community that believes in a God who is 
more about grace than judgment.  Inspired by meaningful worship and teaching, we strive 
to be God's heart and hands in action, seeking to be living examples of Christ's abundant love.

All who come to worship God are always welcome!  Together we seek to love the world and
to embrace others as Jesus did.  Therefore, everyone is invited into full membership regardless 
of age, race, ethnic origin or worldly condition.  Also, we are an Open and Affirming
congregation, welcoming lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered persons to the full life and 
ministry of this church.

Small group study  throughout the year offers opportunities to question, and grow individually and as a community.  We don't have all the answers, so we welcome the questioner.  Check our Calendar of Events for current topics for  Sunday morning and Wednesday evening study.

Want a safe way to explore the bible?  Join our Director of Christian Education, John Angiulo on Thursday mornings at 10 AM as we walk through the bible one book at a time.  Reading, discussing and questioning. Children are an important part of our community

 

Your child is welcome here.

Regular Sunday school classes are held every Sunday for children ages 3 years through 5th grade during the 10:30 AM worship time.  Our team teachers and excellent curriculum make classes interestingly and exciting.

The FIRE

Rincon's youth group, the FIRE,  support  and challenge each other in an environment that encourages individual thought and growth.  Young people 5th grade through high school will find a place to honesty be themselves here.

 We meet every Sunday morning during the 10:30 AM worship time in our Youth Room

 

 

Our Annual Dinner and Talent Show is one of the FIRE's best loved traditions!.
